An internet fraudster who allegedly specialises in hacking into
unsuspecting peoples e-mail in other to retrieve vital informations for
the purpose of defrauding them have been arrested by the Imo state
police command.

The suspect, whose name was given as Chigozie Nnadi, is a 200-level
science student of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri and who hails
from Umualum, Nekede in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo state.
The state commissioner of police AbdulMaji Ali described the suspect as
a guru who had been on the wanted list of the police in Lagos, Enugu
and other states for the same offence.
He was said to have met his waterloo when the “Scorpion Squad” swooped on him at his hideout in Nekede.
Items allegedly recovered from Nnadi included cash, wraps of heroine, Indian hemp, cocaine and some mobile phones.
Meanwhile, the command has also paraded a 200-level Architecture
student of the Federal University of Technology (FUTO) for allegedly
threatening to kidnap a recently married couple and demanding N400 000
as ransom.
Arinze Ekpe, the suspect and his accomplice have allegedly confessed
to the crime but claimed that it was just N20,000 that was demanded.
