His ailment, hydrocephalus, a medical condition also known as “water on the brain”, in which there is an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the ventricles, or cavities, of the brain. This may cause increased intracranial pressure inside the skull and progressive enlargement of the head, convulsion, tunnel vision, and mental disability. Hydrocephalus can also cause death. Although it does occur in older adults, it is more common in infants.
Doctors at the University College Hospital, Ibadan had in May 2012 performed a surgery on little Kehinde to stop the expansion and eventual rupture of his brain, but he still needs another surgery to help him live a normal active life.

Isiaka explained that doctors had told him three weeks ago that the operation which had been delayed for some time now has now become urgent and must be carried out this month.
Little Kehinde’s father, in an emotion ladened voice lamented that he has not been able to raise the needed sum for the operation and has now resorted to seeking for help from the public to raise the N652,000 for the operation, which must be done in this month of May.
