Since the tracklist for Jamie xx’s long-awaited proper debut showed up, anticipation has been high for one song in particular. The features on “I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times)” made it both the most instantly surprising and intriguing record on the list, as it paired Atlanta weirdo MVP Young Thug with one of the freshest young dancehall voices, Popcaan.A couple weeks back, the track leaked without Popcaan’s vocals, causing a brief moment of crisis among fans eagerly awaiting the collaboration. Today, the full version with both artists in tow has been made available (premiered through the OVO blog, is Popcaan their next signee?), and it’s all it was hyped up to be.
