Ed Sheeran drops two new songs, one is titled “Shape You”. After taking a break from music since 2015, Ed Sheeran makes a comeback with two new songs this friday “Shape You” and “Castle On The Hill”.
On Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” which he cowrote with Johnny McDaid and Steve Mac, he sings over a Marimba-fueled percussive sway about a budding romance.
“The club isn’t the best place to find a lover, so the bar is where I go/ Me and my friends at the table doing shots drinking fast and then we talk slow,” he sings. “Come over and start up a conversation with just me/ And trust me I’ll give it a chance.”
Later he sings, “I’m in love with the shape of you.” The song was co-produced by Sheeran and Mac.
