A$AP Rocky spitting on a New York-style boom bap beat? That’s a rare treat, one that we’ve only heard on the rare cut like “1 Train” in the past, but add another to the ranks today. The Pretty Motherfucker appears on a track on Raekwon‘s new album F.I.L.A., and it should appease anyone who was ever bothered by the fact that he came out of the gate sounding like he was from Houston or Memphis. This one’s called “I Got Money” and it was produced by the ever-impressive S1.The beat’s led by marimbas, a choir and an organic-sounding bassline, and over it, Rae and Rock rap about the good times.
