In the EP’s opener, “OG Mac,” Maco sets the stage: He’s one the freshest artists in Atlanta, he’s got big-name producers behind him, and the hits are gonna keep on coming.Zaytoven plucks keys all over the upper-octaves of his grand piano amid spurts of booming bass, while Mac cooly proves he’s Quality Control’s next-up. He can give us crazy voices, and he always entertains with the QC-patented ad-libs, but Maco might be at his best when he’s delivering deadpan raps.
