El Rufai’s Family Loses Another Daughter To Sickle Cell Disease

Nigerian politician Mallam Nasir El Rufai’s family is bereaved again. His family has just lost one of their daughters to Sickle Cell Disease less than 3 years after the death of his first daughter, Yasmin.
Zainab El-Rufai, the niece of the politician has just passed on.
He made this known on his official Facebook Page on Easter Sunday.
In the announcement, El-Rufai said:
El-Rufai Family in Mourning Again: This morning, our daughter Zainab El-Rufai Mohammed, died from complications related to sickle cell anaemia. May her sweet, gentle and innocent soul rest in perfect peace.
May Allah give us all of us – her family and friends, particularly her parents AVM Ali Rufai and Safiya, her husband Mohammed and the baby boy that survived her, the fortitude to bear this sudden loss.
May Aljannah Firdaus be her final abode and ours, Amin. In the last few years, we have lost among others, her sister Farida, her niece Yasmin and her uncle Ibrahim. May all of them meet in Ajannah as we await our call to join them, Amin.
In November 2011, El Rufai’s eldest daughter, Yasmin died in her sleep days after returning to London from Nigeria. Sources said she died of Sickle Cell Anemia also.
What a sad news for El-Rufai’s family! May God give them the fortitude to bear the loss and may her soul rest in perfect peace.
